Samantha Frosch of Bohemia, N.Y. will attend North Carolina State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
For Samantha Frosch of Bohemia, N.Y., an undergraduate degree from Centenary University provided the rigorous academic training she needed for acceptance into North Carolina State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. An equine science and biology major, Frosch received a significant scholarship to attend the highly-selective veterinary school, ranked as one of North America’s top veterinary education programs.
While at Centenary, Frosch thrived within the New Jersey university’s Equine Studies Program, which has a national reputation for excellence. This spring, she participated in research at Centenary’s Equestrian Center to test the effectiveness of a new laser to treat pain and repair soft tissue injuries in horses. Epica Medical Innovations, a developer of veterinary lasers, selected the University to conduct the controlled study.
Frosch was one of 577 Centenary graduates to receive their degrees at the university’s 143 rd commencement on May 12. Founded in 1867 by the Newark Conference of the United Methodist Church, Centenary University’s academic program integrates a solid liberal arts foundation with a strong career orientation. This mix provides an educational experience that prepares students to succeed in the increasingly global and interdependent world. The University’s main campus is located in Hackettstown, N.J., with its equestrian facility in nearby
