Three graduates honored at the New Jersey Distinguished Clinical and Cooperating Teachers Award Ceremony

Hackettstown, N.J., Sept. 18, 2018—Three Centenary University graduates were recognized for excellence at the New Jersey Distinguished Clinical and Cooperating Teachers Award Ceremony. The awards are co-sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Education and New Jersey’s Association of Colleges for Teacher Education.

A member of the Class of 2018, Brittany Moyle was recognized with distinction at the event. The Stewartsville resident was one of just 15 students to earn the ceremony’s highest honor. She graduated with dual certification in Grades K-6 elementary education and teacher of students with disabilities.

In addition, Kristen Scimeca of Budd Lake and Abbie Kay of Hackettstown, also members of the Class of 2018, were honored at the annual event, which lauds the top 60 clinical interns—three each from New Jersey’s educator preparation programs.
